Isabella leaves Dublin for New York to pursue her acting career and escape her complicated relationship with Harry, her childhood sweetheart. Harry is a passionate but struggling anti-war activist who becomes involved with Sinead, a young doctor who shares his political beliefs and is deeply concerned about her friend Moussa, a doctor working in war-torn Iraq.
